Short Story
Samanvi, a young innovator, has got the opportunity to exhibit “Don’t Spilly”, her creation, to a live audience of 1500, including world-class entrepreneurs, leaders, and investors at the upcoming MoonBattle Conference 2024 in Milpitas. She will showcase “Don’t Spilly” in the Show and Tell Competition.
Story
Congratulations to Samanvi for designing “Don’t Spilly”
& being part of the upcoming
MoonBattle Conference 2024 in Milpitas, Silicon Valley
My invention is about a device that helps stoves from being dirty from overflowing hot fluids. My inspiration is my mom. People struggle and put a lot of efforts in keeping their house clean, which involves their kitchen as well.
If you like Samanvi’s project, support Don’t Spilly by sharing and liking it.
Tools used
The main components for this device are Arduino, temperature sensor, soil moisture sensor, battery, and buzzer.
Working principal
It will make sure to alert so that hot fluids will not overflow. The temperature sensor will sense at what temperature the pan is. Next the buzzer will have a code which says when this temperature comes and buzzer will turn on. The buzzer will turn on 5 seconds before the fluid will over flow so that the user can control the temperature or take action to avoid overflows. This device will help people in the kitchen.
Working demonstration
In the prototype I will only be using Soil moisture sensor because the current apparatus is not suitable to put a temperature sensor on a pan. The soil moisture sensor will be on the sides of the pan to sense liquid.
Story
- To help keep the kitchen stove clean.
- Making use of moisture sensor to detect if the water rises up to a certain limit.
- Grabbing the attention of the user before the liquid spills while being boiled.
